Question Can I Connect Passive to Powered Speakers?

I found a nice set of powered bookshelf speakers but I was hoping to add 2 small passive speakers to them. There are 4 aux inputs on the powered speakers. Can I just connect the passive to the powered speakers through the aux input?
Is this possible and get descent sound?

Would help if you listed the models of those speakers, but you can't connect the passive speakers to an input no matter what. Inputs are for getting a signal to something, not from it.
