Solved! Can I hook up an hp deskjet 970 cxi to a laptop

Hello,
How do I hook up an HP DeskJet 970 cxi to a laptop? The printer has been hooked up to an old desktop computer with a cord with big connections.

If you have a serial port on your laptop, or if you get a serial adapter, I guess serial to USB not sure if they even make those. In all honesty, pay $60 and get a new printer.
