Can I pair my iPad Air to a tv without WiFi

I teach an art class in a room with no WiFi. I would like to get a tv that I can pair my iPad no WiFi but will mirror my iPad

Sorry posting again I have a classroom no WiFi but would like my iPad to show up on a tv with out spending $300 because I need to buy a tv too. It says I have an answer but all I see is what I posted.

Someone may have deleted their answer. I'm not an expert on Apple stuff, but I think what you need is a TV with AirPlay or box with AirPlay that will plug into your TV.
