Can I put more than 16GB ram in a new Alienware 15

Just bought an Alienware 15 laptop and I am running out of ram (lots dedicated to Photoshop. I want to increase to 32 GB. Dell only offered 16GB. I haven't opened it up yet to see how many slots there are, but I think it takes DDR3 PC3-12800 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.35V.

Will windows 8 recognize all 32GB?

16 gb is the max ram you can use. you have 2 slots that can handle 8gb each. sorry but that's all it can handle

that's actually a shame!
is impossible to use only 16GB of ram! the minimum of ram i use is 22GB and always almost 32GB. I want a laptop with 17-inch 4K display, 32gb of ram and at least GTX980m so I'm buying an Avell with 4k display, 32gb of ram and gtx980m.
If alienware had this config I'd be buying from them.
Who is running dell? you're definitely loosing the market share.. I know at least 3 colleagues of mine which bought an Avell instead of Alienware due to this hardware limitation..
(and yet, 32gb should not even be a limitation, we should be able to get 8x8GB also)
