New phone, new number, & it inadvertently assigned it to old name on FB. Can it be retrieved?

Trying to get everything on new FB page. Will learn to deactivate old accounts but new number inadvertently posted to old FB page & name. Can I get it back?

Login to FB on the web and reset/remove it. or better yet, delete the FB account.
