Can I run The Sims 3 and a few expansions SMOOTHLY on my laptop??

Hi. I currently play the Sims 4 but I have been wanting to revisit the Sims 3 for some time now. I just got this laptop a few weeks ago and it plays TS4 smoothly without any lag. I really don't want to buy TS3 games again if there is going to be a lot of lag. I was wondering if my HP Pavilion AU010WM can run the following games smoothly on med-high settings...
Sims 3 Base Game
Sims 3 Generations
Sims 3 Late Night
Sims 3 University

If it can run the Sims 4, then it can run the Sims 3.

However, new hardware does not fix poor design or bad coding. I read that after a while of playing the Sims 3 load times can become very long; 15 - 30 minutes to load a saved game. I dunno what's going on there, but new hardware will not make that go away.
