Can I switch my straight talk galaxy s8+ to Verizon

I had Verizon and switched to straight talk. I'm realizing I really like Verizon and wanted to know if I can take my straight talk galaxy s8+ to Verizon?

Verizon uses LTE to provide data access to their network, so (on theory) your S8 could work. I would go to a Verizon shop, and ask there directly. They can even try by popping Verizon SIM into your phone.
