Can i turn a sprint locked htc one m9 into a gsm phone

Any simple answers without the bands and frequencies stuff. Can I convert a sprint locked CDMA to a GSM on the HTC One m9. And can I unlock it as well. Bought it online. I would like to use it on any carrier. Is any of this possible

they are different tech. so no, not unless the phone itself support both. and for unlocking, contact your mobile service provider
