Solved! can i use any camera sensor and put in an action cam as an upgrade?

i have 2 of the same phone, the xiaomi mi5 32gb and it takes beautiful images (Sony IMX 298 sensor i belive). i thought if it would be possible to make an action camera/drone camera using the camera sensor itself and some other components (maybe from my horrible chinese action camera?) and atatch it to my drone (which is not able to lift the whole phone, but the chinese action cam). i would like to make a very lightweight camera for my small drone, is it even possible?/do you have any alternative solution that does not involve buying expensive cameras or drones?

No, you can't just take Sensor A from Camera A, and put in Camera B.
The software and firmware doesn't work.

Either buy a drone with more carrying capacity, or look for a different camera that meets your visual needs.
