It depends on the laptop. Some high end laptops will allow you to swap the gpu but it will say when you buy it. If it says that the gpu is soldered then no. If it says that it is socketed then yes.

you can always buy a pci box seperate. its like 300$ plus a video card. if you laptop will even support it
