can I use Samsung wireless headphones with a Samsung smart television?

I have a Samsung smart television and bought a pair of Samsung wireless headphones to use with my Samsung galaxy5. I was wondering can I use the Samsung headphones for my Samsung smart television?

I suspect that it depends upon the models of the TV and the headphones. If both support Bluetooth then it will work. You should consult the manufacturer's manuals.

If your TV doesn't have BT then you can buy a BT transmitter for it. Which one will depend on the type audio output (usually digital optical) that your TV has. This is one example:
