I have an ASUS vivobook 15 i was wondering if im able to upgrade the cpu to something other than 2 cores 4 threads.

No. The CPU on laptops is generally directly soldered to the motherboard. There are some laptops that have interchangeable CPUs, but they tend to be very expensive ones.
