I got a HP pavilion dv6-6154tx .it has 8 GB ram and a radeon 7450m/Intel HD 3000.it has a i5 2430m .can it run GTA 5

No, it will not run GTA V at any reasonable resolution and framerate. You need a new computer

You can go to game debate and search the game you want to play, then you click on system requirements tool then put in the specs of your computer and it will tell you how well it can play the game and tell you what is slowing the computer down or bottlenecking.

Sometimes it's not perfectly accurate but it is what I like to use.
