Good day guys,

Before I buy a Macbook Pro 13(2015), I want to ask if it can handle online games like World of Warcraft or DOTA 2?

Thanks :D

My macbook pro which is what use for my work/travel and it plays wow on ultra @ 60fps without any of the newer AA stuff enabled, but the only thing I really need to do is when I do a raid with a bunch of people 20+ I need to put the settings to high. But overall great laptop for playing wow as long as you have some other reason for buying it.

Macs run really cool, I do a lot of editing from security conference streams. I've had mine going full blast before for 4-5 hours and it never heated up that much. So you can raid for hours and hours and you won't really notice it getting hot.

I dont play WOW but I play Dota 2 alot, my previous laptop was the late 2014 macbook pro retina 13 (MGX72) and it struggled to run DOTA 2 ~30fps on 720p low settings. The 2015 uses the iris 6100 GPU which is 10% better than the 5100 on my model so I'd say it is bad for gaming, very bad. I had to switched to the alienware 13 (i7, gtx860m, ssd512, QHD touchscreen) for 1340$ on Amazon. If you're into gaming with portability, good battery life (worse than the MBPr but still the best in its rank of gaming laptop), go for the Alienware 13
