Can messages saved from phone to Pc be edited when they are saved??

I have some court case matter and for that i am giving some messages as proof that I have saved on my PC from my Phone.
Now the lawyer say I might have tampered them according to my wish and not accepting them.. Is this possible?? Is there some way I can prove that messages cannot be tempered when save....Please help
