Can my laptop run games like arma 3 or far cry 4?

So I was wondering if my laptop can run arma 3 or modern day games with decent frames and resolutions if so describe them.

The specs are 8gb ram, i7, and gt 840m

If you haven't bought the computer yet, I'd recommend you don't. If you want a gaming card, you're looking for a GTX, not a GT. The CPU is okay, but the card wouldn't even run lowest settings on most modern games.

Just saying its a Laptop not a computer, and his GT 840m is kinda Good and you can play arma 3 i think. But if on ultra i don't really know.

BF 4, should be fine also

Yes, MUCH better. You could probably run most games with decent settings with that card.

Gt series are slow I don't suggest a Gt look at the old gt 630 2 gb gddr3 and still run slower than an hd 4850 512 gddr3

The GTX850m is only a mid level card. At 1080p. Expect to play at medium settings in most games.

Anyway if you want to have a machine which runs this games smoothly I suggest you a desktop because laptops aren t made for gaming except the ones which are made for gaming ) -_- the expensive ones

This laptop will certainly ruin games. (the gtx850m one). Just don;t expect amazing settings.
