I know it has other sensors, and the salesman claims it can, but I dont want to buy one, unless it really can check your blood sugar level.

So ... it cannot monitor blood glucose much less one's A1C?
Clerks /salespeople are stressing - Yes, it does monitor blood glucose. That is a big deal. You can in the future you can sell millions of Apple Watches if you can acheive that. There is a huge enormous MARKET for any device that can do that!!
I hope that Apple or someone else can develop any kind of device that can do that. Let me know if you know of a blood glucose monitor that does not require an implant or a needle. Thank you! GKS

Only blood oxygen, not blood sugar.
