Question Canon M50 Grid Lines don't work when recording

I bought a Canon M50 and I turned on the grid lines but whenever I record they disappear can someone help me with this?

maybe a firmware update might help

I think the grid display setting is only visible in picture mode and not in the movie mode -> therefore it´s not intended to be there like you want it to be
