Can't connect my mobile wifi to pc

Need help to open browser setting to connect to my PC to my mobile to get wifi doesn't want to work!!!

NOTE: Be sure you check your phones data plan to make sure you won't be stuck with a huge bill. Computers use way more data when online than phones.

If it is at all possible it would be done this way...

1. Go into "Settings" and in the "Wireless & networks" section tap "More".
2. Now tap "Tethering & portable hotspot".
3. For "Wireless Tethering" tap "Set up Wi-Fi hotspot"
4. On this new screen you will see options for a "Network Name", "Security", "Password" and "Network Band". You can change them or keep them as is. It is really up to you.
5. Now you would just need to search for the hotspot by name using the second device.

NOTE: While a Wi-Fi hotspot feature is built into Android, some service providers/carriers, especially in the United States, hide it. You would then need to see if you can locate an app that you can install to help with this.

How to extend the range of your phone’s Hot Spot by using a router.


1. Access your routers configuration and go to the ‘Wireless’ section/menu.

2. Select the option “Enable WDS Bridging” or something similarly named. Note: Some routers don’t have a WDS/Bridging function. If yours does not, then you will have to get a different router. (WDS = Wireless distribution system.)

3. Click the ‘Survey’ button. It will show you all the connections within your range. Note: You can enter details manually if no survey option is given.

4. Select the connection you want to connect to.

5. Enter/create password a password. (Anyone wanting to connect will need it.)

6. Click "Save".

7.You should now be prompted for proper selection of channel. Click "Yes" and it will automatically select for you.

8. Disable "DHCP".

9. Now restart your router. (There should be an option to restart/reboot it within the routers configuration settings.)

10. Once the router has completely rebooted, wait a little while for it to connect, as occassionally it won't connect instantly.

11. If it isn't working, then you may need to update the routers firmware.


IMPORTANT NOTE: When you have disabled "DHCP", you will not be able to access your router directly, but your internet should work. To access your router you will have to configure IP address of your connection.
