Can't factory reset my laptop :(

My Windows 8 Dell laptop has been giving me issues, and I figured that a factory reset would make sure that I fix them. The only problem is that when I start to reset my computer, it getseems stuck at 26%. Any ideas of how to fix it?

Sounds like the problem may be the hard drive. Which would need to be replaced if it is the problem.

That would almost certainly help, but since I don't have a job, I would like to find a solution that doesn't cost anything. If nothing else works, at least I know which part to replace now Thanks!
