Solved! Can't find HDMI port on an Asus VK2225

I bought a Asus VK2225 Monitor and I want to use my HDMI cable on it so I can use it as a speaker at the same time but I can't find a port in the monitor for said cable. It has stickers on it that indicate it can be used with HDMI and as a speakers/web cam. Am I doing something wrong?

Use the one to the lft of the DVI (white) connector

It's the other side of the stand from the power in socket, if you lay the monitor face down with the stand towards you and look at the underside area where the stand fits into the monitor you will see it.

Looks like you bought one of the cheaper "s" versions which only has a VGA port.

But why is it still being advertised as speaker/webcam..

Because you can connect it to your pc via the USB port near the VGA connector

You just need one like this ( type A to B), available from most places,

Since your monitor doesn't have an audio input to go with the VGA I suspect it doesn't have any speakers built in.

There is a green connector on the other end of the VGA panel that's your audio in.
