Can't open photos

I moved photos from my phone to a memory pen a month ago. Today I wanted one of the photos on the memory pen and I have opened the memory pen up and it says on every photo 'we can't open this file'. What should I do? Please help lots of precious memoris lost! 🙁

Try moving the photos over to a computer and see if you can access the files. If not, then what is the exact message it gives you?
