HI there,

I have a MSi GP 2QF leopard pro and can't prevent my laptop from turning black afther 1 minute or so.

I've tried to do some changes in the settings of screen- safemode and sleeping mode- and even further the energy settings, but couldn't change the problem.

Is there another solution for this problem?
Maybe in register?
thx in advance

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- First, do change some settings in Power Options.
- Right click on the battery icon on the lower right hand corner and select Power Options.
- Once opened, click on Change plan settings then if you'll see an option that will say Dim the display, set it to Never.
- Set Turn off the display as well to Never both On battery and Plugged in then click Save changes.
- If the same problem will persist uninstall/reinstall the Generic Pnp Monitor.
- Open Device Manager and uninstall the Generic Pnp Monitor.
- Once uninstalled reboot your laptop and it should reinstall the driver automatically.
- If the same problem will persist do also change the other Power Options settings.
- Open Power Options then click on Change Plan Settings then Change Advanced Power Settings.
- Expand Hard Disk then set Turn off Hard disk after to NEVER.
- Expand Sleep and set Allow hyrbid sleep to OFF.
- Set Hibernate after to NEVER.
- Click Apply and OK then test it again and see if the same problem will persist or not.
- If all these will not work, last option would be to reinstall Windows.
