Can't Turn On?

My phone hasn't tuned on in over 36 hours and is plugged in and it still wont charge. I'm not sure what to do.

pop the battery out see if the battery seated and not damaged...a lot of time if phone gets damp or wet the battery can fail. (swell do to dead short). if it not the battery then the phone may have gone bad. also pop the battery out and see if the phone will reset.
