Question Casting to my TV.

Hello. I am trying to cast to my TV from my C850-1C4. There is a 'cast...' button under settings but right clicking does not get any response. I can cast to my TV from my phone, so that doesn't appear to be an issue. Is something not set up properly on my laptop?

Cast button under settings where? From Chrome? I'd used the Chrome casting, and it does not work well, at least for video with sound, goes out of sync and tends to stutter or lock up for a bit.

I am using the Google Chrome browser and under settings there is 'cast.....' . There should be a drop down menu but nothing appears when right clicking. I am using Google Chrome with a ChromeCast plugged into my TV.

Check if there is a newer version of Chrome you can install. Did you check here https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/3228332?co=GENIE.Platform=Desktop&hl=en ?

I have downloaded the latest browser and some of the Chromecast support asks you to go to settings and right click on 'cast....'. Something is incompatible between my computer and TV or something is not enabled on my computer which allows casting.

Past being on the same network I don't think there is anything computer specific that needs to be enabled.

You can also use some third-party apps to do so. LestView and ApowerMirror can mirror PC or phone to TV for free.
