Certain numbers not wroking on laptop numeric pad.

Hey I was typing today I noticed that my 2, 5, 8 and / keys on my numeric keypad for my Samsung RF711 (win 7) are not working. I contact Samsung support and they suggested I unistall driver and that did not work. They then suggested I do a factory reinstall... which I said no to since I have a DJ gig I need this computer the way it is til the 4th. They pretty much gave up and suggested I send it in for service. But with my gig coming up, I want to make sure that there are no major issues, and see if there is any way I can fix it. I did once see my 6 pound cat get on top of it once. but other than that I have no idea.

Send it after your gig. Back up data before sending it in.

the key have been press to it max with the cat weight you could try to lift the cap of those keys and see when you put it back if they work otherwise you will need to replace the numeric pad .
