change webcam of my laptop

i have a toshiba satellite l300 1fr laptop,, it has a vga webcam, is it possible to change or replace it to a hd webcam

You will first have to open carefully the entire case, locate the connection and figure if it is a solder (Likely) it will take a lot of skill to change it. If you have very good hardware skills, you may be able to do this but it voids warranty. I would recommend using an HD usb webcam like any one form Logitech http://www.logitech.com/en-us/webcam-communications/webcams You could replace the existing one but it will be a lot of trouble and you may break things.
