The controls I checked on were actually from the 40Lxxxx model, did not notice that it was slightly different.

If you nor anyone else can find the control buttons, then they are not there. A bit odd, don't think I ran into a TV before that did not have some controls on the set itself.

Buy a new remote to use with it if it really has no buttons. I'm sure a universal one would work.
