charging problem with hp pavilion g6

hi every one,
i am facing charging issue from many weeks, when i plug charging pin of laptop charger into laptop , then it starts charging after sometime it stops charging and i receive message by mouse hovering on charging icon at task bar "plug and not charging" after some time it starts charging , then sometime after it stops, don't know whats wrong with my laptop either its problem with ac adopter or with battery or sometime else. please guide me with your best.

Could be any of those, you need to try swapping them out to see wha is going on. I'd lean towards the battery though, especially if the laptop runs fine on wall power.

Not without testing and looking at the laptop. You need to rule things out by testing.

Already said it, and so did you. Battery, or the charging hardware on the laptop, probably not the charger if it works OK on wall power with no battery installed. Try a new battery first if it works fine without one.
