Chat room for dell support

Hello,
I have a dell laptop that has just decided to not turn on. I press the power button, I can hear the drive spin up and then it shuts down. Any ideas?

If your laptop is still under warranty, your best bet would be to contact Dell's customer support. If not, the first question is whether the laptop has a history of running "hot" in the past? If so, it sounds to me as if something hardware related has been damaged due to heat.
