Cheap gaming laptop

What should I look for in a cheap gaming laptop, I'm a teen that doesn't know much about computer and doesn't have much money.

A "cheap gaming laptop" is about $800. A cheap laptop that can handle games on low settings is about $600.

Just a "cheap laptop" is about $400 but that won't run many games, definately not anything that requires modern video cards.
