Checking media error

My Lenovo laptop keeps saying checking media and keeps restarting itself. I just purchased it back in June. How do I know if it's under warranty? Did I have to register it when I got it? please help.

If you got it in June it's under warranty. There would have been paperwork in the box about any registration you needed to do. Contact Lenovo support.
