Listen, having freedom of choice, religion and etc.. is a privilege in most societies. I hate to agree with someone taking my freedoms away but if the country that made it possible for you to be who you are WITH ALL OF YOUR "TOYS", eh ehm, cars, technology in general, I think if they think that CURSING in music that is sold is inappropriate, then so be it. I say, GET USED TO IT. I personally think the United States should MANDATE some kind of Military in schools or SOMETHING to TEACH DISCIPLINE. This country is headed to hell in a goddamn hand basket. There are no MORALS left! NONE! No one cares about a damn thing! Prove me wrong!? Please!!

Sounds like most of the elites the world over. World domination is the ultimate wet dream for the elite along being able to say "were in the money" every day when they get their bailout money fix.

I don't think its fare to compare a communist/socialist style government to a capitalistic style of government. The government is taking control more and more in china. I think morals are taught from the home and not from the government.
 
The media they are censoring (music with obscene lyrics) is consumed by children and young teens. Maybe they have seen the inner urban cities in the US with the gangs, crime, graffite, etc. and don't want their youth emulating that crap. I don't blame them personally. Nothing good can come from it.

I can't stand sheep who line up to be fed lies by their political party's propaganda. If AMD told me that their new processor is 1 billion times faster than anything Intel, I would not believe them until an unbiased third party confirmed it, and I would still be skeptical. Why is political propaganda a more reliable source, they just want your votes like a company wants your money, they don't give a damn about you unless it is convenient.

Government is created when people decide they need to sacrifice some freedoms for the sake of security. Don't want to be killed? Give up the freedom to murder. Obviously an extreme example, but hopefully even the thickest of heads will understand.

How does sacrificing the ability to speak your mind through music improve security? Is the sacrifice worth it? This is a glaring example of freedom of speech being stripped away - yet I see people praising this. I don't understand it at all. Yeah, some lyrics might be "bad," but if no one speaks out, how do you know something's wrong? Music is one of the most basic ways to convey an opinion.

Good, excellent point. Except, the very people affected by this don't get a say in the decision.
