Choosing a laptop that fits my needs

I am interested in buying a laptop.
My needs are very specific. I run highly intensive mathematical codes, written in fortran 90, or in "Mathematica". The codes require a lot of RAM and sometimes I need to run 2 or 3 versions of the code simultaneously.
I have no interest in games, or software which uses a lot of graphics.
I do not mind the weight of the laptop.
Do you have any suggestions? How should I choose the best option for me?

Solution
I would recommend an quad core Intel Core i7 CPU (MQ, HQ, MX models) since Mathematica can make use of Hyper Threading and since you want to run multiple instances of those two programs having a total of 8 threads would be very useful. Regarding RAM, I would probably recommend getting at least 12GB RAM.

Let's say, up to 2 GB per run. I want to know, what are the features that can maximize the speed of the computations. Thanks.
