Question Choosing Files when prompted on Chrome causes my screen to go black?

Hi, I'm trying to upload pictures to a website and whenever I do that "Choose an action" pops up and lets me choose files so I can upload my picture but for some reason when I choose files now it freezes for a couple of seconds before going black. I can still exit the black screen by closing the app or clicking home and reopening Chrome doesn't show the black screen again until I try to upload a photo again. I've tried clearing my cache and restarting my phone but it only let me upload a photo once before the same problem happened again. What's causing this and how do I fix it?

I tested uploading photos with the Samsung Internet browser and while trying to upload pictures from "Files" gave me the same problem, Samsung Internet gave me a new option called "My files" which let me upload them just fine.
I am not a fan of Samsung Internet though so I'm still wondering if there's a way to fix the issue with the "Files" option.

possible an android issue. they probably will have an update to fix it
