Question Choosing new phone: Security iPhone vs Android

I've owned both and have things I like about both.

What is coming down to is data security.

Truthfully, I don't care so much that they track some info, it's how secure is that data?

How easy would it be for someone to somehow access your passwords, bank and credit card accounts, etc.

I'm guessing companies like Google and Samsung have the resources to better safeguard that data, then say one plus or done of the smaller companies.

Which offers better protection against this?

Neither Apple or Google can be trusted because they're both in the business of trading users' data for cash. That said, you may as well as keep a thousand dollars, pounds, rupees in your pocket and buy the Android instead.
