Color on my laptop screen is greenish what could be wrong

Hello,
My laptop screen all of a sudden has a greenish color to it. Any ideas of what it could be?

It could be a variety of things, such as a sign that the inverter is going out, the graphics chip has become damaged due to heat, or the LCD is wearing out amongst other things. How old is the laptop?

It is only 1 yr old. It's a Toshiba Satellite.
