Solved! Comparison between intel and amd laptops

Hello,i would like to buy a laptop.i am a student . i want to install vb.net and later i would like to develop programmes.
so please advice which processor should i choose? amd or intel

If you don't plan to game, and don't care about battery life, then buy whatever's cheaper. Visual Studio 2010 can run perfectly fine on a netbook.

From my reading, programmers usually think a big screen and a good keyboard is most important.

For CPUs, Intel's i series is the fastest, AMD's ddr3 chips and Intel's c2d are similar in performance.
