Solved! Compatible webcams for windows 7

Hello,
i have a windows 7 dell laptop. if i was to get webcam for someone to be able to chat with me and at a good price, what would it be?

Webcams are generally pretty cheap and relyable. I like the Logitech and HP webcams. As for compatibility, most packaging will say if it works with Windows 7 if it doesn't mention windows 7 then it could have been manufactured before Windows 7 was released. If that is the case just make sure it says Windows Vista. Because of the similaities between the operating systems you can use Vista software in Windows 7 without issues.
