I'll admit, although I'm pretty ashamed to, I installed an EXE file from a e-mail in the Spam folder of my mail.

Pretty stupid of me, I knew I shouldn't open it, but I clicked too fast. Not surprisingly, had to re-install the OS (that was due anyway, not a big problem).

I don't care... as long as you're not dumb and don't open shady attachments, don't go around looking for cracks or keygens on sites you don't trust (like google) and generally don't act like a retard when you're online... then you won't get any viruses, at most you'll get false positives. I haven't had a real virus on my own PC for many many years... my mom's and sisters pc... well that's another story.

Oh, and always set your OS to show extensions on all files.
