Computer cant derect logitech a335 speakers

I get no sound from logitech speakers even with volume up on pc and the speakers

Do these speakers work on other pc / laptop / phone?
Have you tried another speaker / headphone in the same PC jack?
If this is a desktop - have you tried front and back green connectors?

I finally got around to trying headphones in the PC jack and YES, that was it. Do you recommend a good set of computer speakers since apparently mine are not working anymore? I appreciate your help!
