My Toshiba PC (with built-in Windows 8) has been crashing every day, about 45 times at the end of the week. First, it will start with a program crashing (usually paint.net and Chrome) and then I will press the start button at the bottom right corner (it is a shell with Windows colors with a blue circle around it) and the glow that comes out of it when you click it freezes. I click it again, and the blue circle turns into a black square. My PC won't auto-restart, so I have to hold down my power-button for 5 seconds and then turn it back on. After an hour of time spent on my computer, this process repeats. I need to know if this is a virus that my antivirus programs cannot find, or if there is something wrong with my system that I need to fix manually.
