I HAVE A 50 INCH LG PLASMA T.V. I HOOKED UP A HDMI CABLE FROM MY LAPTOP TO MY T.V AND I SEE THE PICTURE AND EVERYTHING BUT I GET A STATIC SOUND.

From what I have read you use the HDMI for the video, and then need to connect to your audio via USB, RCA, etc.
