Connect 3.5mm jack speaker simultaneously to both TV and Apple TV

Hi,

I search the forum but I couldn't find the answer for my problem.

I have a Samsung TV and an Apple TV. I would like to use AirPlay with my ATV but now I have to turn on the TV for that because my speaker is connected to the TV (my speaker has 3.5mm jack so I guess I need a DAC to connect it to my ATV anyway).

So, I would like to use the speaker with the TV and the ATV at the same time without switching the cables all the time.

Is there a solution for that?

Switch between two sources: 1) Samsung TV [analog] or 2) Apple TV [digital] and output to analog speaker - correct?

You will need an 3.5 mm A/B Switch. E.g.:

And yes, provided that I understand correctly, you will need a DAC between the ATV and the 3.5 mm A/B switch.

Is there a way to do this without manually switching the sources?
