I have a Toshiba tv that is old and does not have YouTube or Wi-Fi but I really wanna control YouTube on my Toshiba tv using my android 5.1.1 Samsung Galaxy J3 2016

Does the TV have HDMI? If yes it's much easier to use a Firestick, Roku or another streaming device instead of having the phone tied up.

If you want to connect the phone to the TV to use as a screen, you will need to either use an MHL cable (supported devices are here (http/www.mhltech.org/devices.aspx) or use screen casting for which it sounds like you will need a Chromecast.
