connect boombox to laptop

i hav a jvc rc-x610 i want 2 connect an aux cable to in but it gt a mic/mix 3.5mm jack wat should i do ??

Connect to your sound card.

plug the aux cable into the green port or headphone port on the laptop, then the other end into the aux port on the jvc rc-x610

i connected it but the sound is still coming very low even though the volume is high

turn the volume up to about 90% on the laptop and then use the volume control on the boom box.

the volume on the boombox and on the laptop both are full still d sound come very low
