I want to connect my hp 430 laptop to my sony dav dz350 home theater system via HDMI cable ?

I don't see how;
Input and output terminals
Analogue Audio Input(1), Composite Video Output(1), HDMI Output(1), Optical Audio Input(1), USB Input(1)

You lack a video input into the unit altogether, of any kind, not just HDMI

If you connect the laptop to the TV with HDMI and the HTS is already connected to the TV you don't need to do anything else. The audio will go through the TV to the Sony HTS.
