Connect old receiver to hdmi tv

How can I connect a Sony receiver and Bose speakers with no hdmi port, or optical to a hdtv??? Please help!!!

That receiver is definitely quite old. You could either get one of these, or a newer one.

Your TV has optical audio out so you will need one of these:
http/www.parts-express.com/parts-express-digital-to-analog-converter-%2851-compatible%29--180-999
to convert that to 2 channel analog RCA that can be connected to you stereo receiver. Any input other than phono is fine. You will also need an optical cable and RCA stereo cable. Not too complicated to set up.
