and speaker AC power was plugged into wall? That speaker system should definitely work with that AV out jack.

Just to be sure the speakers are ok, do you have a laptop or other device with a similar 3.5mm jack, so you can test speakers?

I am using that speaker with my PC for 3 months. I have two speakers, one laptop speakers and other one is 2.1 speakers. Both works fine with PC but with TV it has too low volume. Both speakers are low with TV but loud with PC.

Are you using a digital RCA cable to connect them? It will be yellow ,just like the connector on the TV.

Hi, Thanks all for your help. The speaker was having volume knob problem, the speaker sound fluctuates while adjusting volume through speaker's knob. I fixed it. Thanks all for your replies.

That's a problem with a lot of older speakers/receivers. The potentiometers get some minor corrosion or dust build-up. With the speaker turned off, turn the volume knob rapidly back and forth all the way many times. This will cause the potentiometer coil to get wiped clean a bit, and it will perform better.
