Question Connecting a UHD TV, Soundbar, and a 4k blu-ray player

What is the best way to connect my Samsung UHD tv to my Panasonic 4k blu-ray player to my Samsung HW-A650 soundbar?

Blueray player to the TV, either HDMI ARC or optical to the TV from the soundbar. Soundbar manual should explain everything although you may need to find the full version online.
